Control Room Operator at Platinum Outsourcing and Logistics

We seek to recruit a competent and detail-oriented Control Room Operator to oversee the safe, efficient, and optimal operation of our automated feed production plant from a centralized control room. The successful candidate will be responsible for continuously monitoring, controlling, and coordinating all stages of the production process, including raw material intake, grinding, mixing, pelleting, cooling, and bagging. The role requires ensuring that production is carried out in accordance with approved formulations, production schedules, quality standards, and safety procedures while maximizing operational efficiency and minimizing downtime.

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering, Industrial or Applied Sciences, animal nutrition and related fields

Experience:

• 2-3 years experience in a similar role preferably in a busy manufacturing set-up
• Milling industry experience is essential

Knowledge:

• Basic computer skills for data entry and monitoring systems
• Strong knowledge of feed milling processes (grinding, mixing, pelleting, cooling).
• Familiarity with SCADA/PLC systems and computerized control interfaces.
• Basic understanding of preventive maintenance and equipment troubleshooting.
