Role and Responsibility:

We love English, but hate errors! Looking for someone who understands the language like the back of their hands. Should be well versed with contemporary lingo widely used across international platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with teams across different categories of writing, spanning across business, technology and lifestyle
• Manage turnaround time between editing and publishing of content on the platforms
• Proofread for grammar, typos and format /layout errors
• Work and collaborate also with remote teams for editing work
• Ensure brand guidelines in terms of tone, vocabulary and audience
• Run plagiarism checks on both (un)published copies

Skills:

• Grammar champion
• Should know the difference between prude and prurient, Kenya based and Kenyan based
• Great eye for detail like when to use ; or ,
• Should be able to manage both formal and informal articles

Compensation:

Annual CTC: Ksh 516,000 to 6,00,0000.
