Role and Responsibility:

We love English, but hate errors! Looking for someone who understands the language like the back of their hands. Should be well versed with contemporary lingo widely used across international platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with teams across different categories of writing, spanning across business, technology and lifestyle
• Manage turnaround time between editing and publishing of content on the platforms
• Proofread for grammar, typos and format /layout errors
• Work and collaborate also with remote teams for editing work
• Ensure brand guidelines in terms of tone, vocabulary and audience
• Run plagiarism checks on both (un)published copies

Skills:

• Grammar champion
• Should know the difference between prude and prurient, Kenya based and Kenyan based
• Great eye for detail like when to use ; or ,
• Should be able to manage both formal and informal articles

Compensation:

Annual CTC: Ksh 516,000 to 6,00,0000.

The position will be part of a Rockstar Team that brings out the WeeTrackerAnnual VC report of Africa. You should be alert, informed and persistent with data on African startups.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect and categorise data on startups.
• Enter profiles and deal information into database.
• Be able to assess the usefulness of information.
• Responsible for maintaining latest information on the portal.
• Ensure the accuracy of information before inputting into the database
• Provide data and insights to Research team.
• Regularly monitoring the data sources on startups in Africa.

Skills:

• Should have strong online research skills.
• Should be able to do data collection from both primary and secondary sources.
• Adept with understanding research reports.

Compensation:

Annual CTC: Ksh 3,00,000 to 4,80,000.

We are looking for someone who can eat, sleep, live our brands on digital platforms. You should be able to navigate the brands very clearly on digital platforms maintaining clear boundaries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Continuous and prompt distribution of content on social media and other aggregation platforms.
• Develop Facebook advertising strategies, implement campaigns, monitor and optimise for performance
• Responsible for growing and maintaining e-mail marketing community
• Responsible for amplifying videos and managing YouTube operations
• Responsible for overall social media operations and growing the fanbase on the channels
• Taking care of ad-hoc requirements from the editorial team
• Taking care of monthly promotional campaigns and execution
• Come up with ideas or potential collaborations to grow the digital outreach of the platforms

Compensation:

Annual CTC: Ksh 7,80,000 – 9,60,000
