Crane Operator at Safal Group

Description

Key responsibilities:

• Perform Daily pre-operational inspections of the crane and equipment, safety checks, and test lifts.
• Proactively Troubleshoots equipment problems.
• Report all accidents/incidents to the direct Supervisor.
• Expected to operate safely and efficiently with high focus and skill at all times.
• Communicate with people at the shop floor to determine the best placement of the lifted loads.
• Ensures that balance and distribution of load is maintained and that weight of load is in compliance with capability crane.
• Will never override any safety alarms and devices.
• Operate electric overhead cranes to load and unload finished goods.
• Any other job as may be assigned from time to time by the Supervisor.

Requirements

Qualifications required:

• Must have nationally accredited certification in Overhead Crane operation.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing plant.

Experience required:

• General work experience (years): 3 years in Overhead crane operation
• Specific to the position (level/discipline/years): 2 year
• Industry: Manufacturing
