Data Cabling Technician at Mehta Electrical Ltd.

An Electrical contracting company based in Nairobi is looking for a Data Cabling Technician: –

 Responsibilities

• To install closet hardware, including connecting blocks, fiber enclosures, racks, backboards, and patch panels.
• Work on all aspects of telecommunication industry when required, such as wiring practices, underground work, color code and terminations.
• Interpret signal flow, signal path, Logic and Ethernet connections.
• Run, pull and splice copper and fiber optic cables, such as CAT5, CAT6, low voltage cables and fiber.
• Install telecom equipment while adhering to best practices, industry standards, and manufacturer requirements.
• Prepare material schedule summary reports.
• Any other instructions from HOD.

Qualifications

• Experienced in cabling and networking for at least 2 years as a data technician.
• A Diploma in ICT.
• Certifications in CCTV or Fire Alarm or access control or PBX System
