The Position
The International Health Data Engineering team sits at the heart of the International Health Delivery Services organization and is responsible for Cigna's Data Integration Hub, which ingests data from multiple sources, including all the policy admin systems, and makes it available to numerous downstream consumers. The team is central to provisioning the data behind a range of key initiatives, including all the web portals and multiple integrations, both internal and external.
As a Senior Developer within the team, you will provide expert technical leadership on the design, development, and support of our data integration and ETL solutions. Drawing on deep SQL Server expertise, you will act as a principal designer for complex data solutions, help define the standards and practices for how our solutions are built, and take ownership of resolving complex issues to keep business-critical data flowing reliably. You will be encouraged to contribute your own ideas and expertise, and to keep your skills up to date through training and learning.
You will engage with teams across a range of technical disciplines and geographies. Recognised internally as a subject matter expert, you will provide thought leadership within Data Engineering while contributing to broader initiatives that require an understanding of the wider business.
