Data Operations Assistant at Komaza Kenya

About The Role

As the Data Operations Assistant, you will work closely with the Data Operations Senior Assistant and Officer to support key-value chain data collection teams. Through providing necessary support to field teams on data quality checking, issue resolution and basic analytics where applicable.

Location: The role can be based in either Kilifi, Olkalou or Naivasha, Kenya.

What you will Do

• Review and approve forms and data submissions from field teams through our office database or other softwares.
• Support value chain teams in submitting accurate data Review and follow up with field teams on dashboard and KPI data ensuring accuracy and flag inconsistencies
• Assist in the testing and design of surveys in SurveyCTO or other data collection softwares
• Review, reconcile, organize and store documents shared from the field
• Assist in the generation of maps and supporting documents for different value chain teams
• Provide first level support for challenges experienced by field teams while using mobile data collection platforms
• Escalate complex issues to tech/BI team
• Perform any other duties as may be required

What You Have

• Bachelor’s degree (science and data background will be an added advantage)
• 1+ year of work experience (internships and volunteering included will be an added advantage)
• Interest in a data-related career
• Proficiency on excel formulas and functions, basic SQL and Python skills will be an added advantage.
• Holds a high degree of comfort with google sheets
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and organizational skills
• Detail-oriented aptitude and a high degree of accuracy is required
