Terms and Conditions of Service

• Basic Salary Kshs. 62,339 – 78,725 PM
• House Allowance Kshs. 16,500 PM
• Commuter Allowance Kshs. 4,000 PM
• Leave Allowance Kshs. 15,000 PA
• Annual Leave 30 working days per Financial Year
• Medical Cover and other allowances As provided by the ODPC
• Terms of Service Permanent and pensionable
• Requirements for Appointment

For appointment to this grade, an Officer must have:

• Bachelor’s degree in any of the following fields: Law or an equivalent from a
• recognized and accredited institution;
• Admission to the Bar as an advocate of the High Court of Kenya;
• Proficiency in computer applications.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Specific duties and responsibilities will entail:
• Drafting enforcement notices;
• Drafting requests for obtaining warrant from the court to enter and search premises;
• Drafting penalty notices;
• Establishing and maintaining a database of enforcement and penalty notices;
• Collecting and collating information on entities to be served with penalty notices.
• Drafting request for preservation order from the court;
• Any other duties assigned by the Supervisor
