    Demand Planner

    • In this role you will be responsible to Improve the accuracy and reliability of the Demand Plan through projection of the most accurate estimate of customer demand and manage exceptions to enhance the responsiveness of the organization’s Supply Chain in fulfilling customer demand.

    A day in the life of a Demand Planner:

    • Consistently achieve sustainable Demand Plan Accuracy (DPA) improvement: (accuracy level and variability, bias balance)
    • Implement improvements to Demand and Supply Planning processes and tools to deliver tangible benefits (e.g.: time savings, increased efficiencies etc.)
    • Capture, prioritize, analyze and input Generating Demand events; customer, consumer & competitor information; other external / internal trends and influences, which impact demand plan.
    • Provide necessary information for Key Decision Makers in the Innovation and Renovation (I&R) process for decisions on: commercial proposals; cost versus service; complexity and capacity issues
    • Evaluate risks and offer solutions to enable decisions on product-launch dates that require to be revised.
    • Provide conclusion on material write-offs ensuring commercial teams clear obsoletes and amend commercial plans accordingly (decision made by Event Owner)
    • Plan and achieve good project management taking responsibility for new products, product modifications, promotional lines, sourcing changes, de-lists, etc.
    • Drive fast, appropriate actions to minimize the impact of deviations from the Demand Plan and communicate these actions to stakeholders.
    • Effectively use all all Demand Planning functionality to enable an exception-based management approach

    What will make you successful?

    • Degree in Supply Chain Management/Operations Management

    Three or more years relevant operational experience in at least one of the following areas:

    • Sales, Key Account Management,
    • Customer Channel Sales Development
    • Customer Service
    • D&SP: Distribution requirement planning
    • Marketing
    • Supply Chain Development
    • Experience working with SAP and Power BI.
    • Must have strong analytical, numerical and excel skills
    • Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
    • Ability to influence others.
