Deputy Director Information Communication Technology
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:
Served in the grade of Senior Assistant Director, Information Communication Technology for at least three (3) years OR a minimum period of Fifteen (15) years work experience, three (3) of which must have been in a Senior Management position in a comparable and relevant position in the Public or Private Sector;
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or any other Information Communication Technology related discipline from a recognized institution;
Professional certification in any of the following: CCNA, CCNP, CISA, ITIL, PRINCE2, CompTIA+,MCSE, ORACLE Certified Professional, AWS, Programming, or any other relevant equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
Programming skills and development of ICT systems using Python, Perl, PHP or any other language will be an added advantage;
Master’s degree in computer science or any other Information Communication Technology related discipline from a recognized institution;
Certificate in Strategic Leadership Development Programme from a recognized institution lasting not less than six (6) weeks;
Demonstrated professional competence and administrative capabilities in work performance and results; and
Meet the requirements of chapter six (6) of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010.
