For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:
A cumulative number of Fifteen (15) years relevant work experience from the date of admission as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya OR served for three (3) years at the level of Senior Assistant Director of Public Prosecutions OR a Senior Management position in a comparable and relevant position in the Public or Private Sector.
Bachelor’s degree in Law from a recognized institution;
Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Studies from Council of Legal Education;
Admission as an advocate of the High Court of Kenya;
Member of the Law Society of Kenya;
Certificate in Strategic Leadership Development Programme from a recognized institution lasting not less than six (6) weeks; and vii. Meet the requirements of chapter six (6) of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010. NOTE: Possession of a Master’s degree in Law or any other relevant qualification from a recognized Institution will be an added advantage.
