Reporting to: Head Teacher – Hillcrest Preparatory School
Responsible for: Head of Junior School, Head of Senior School.
Role Summary:
The Deputy Head Teacher is a member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) with responsibility for management and leadership of academic planning and outcomes, curriculum development and execution, and Student Inclusion and Welfare. The Deputy Head teacher is an excellent and experienced teacher who is able to provide professional guidance to all stakeholders. He/she is adept in building strong and collaborative relationships with teachers, students, parents and other industry players.
Key leadership responsibilities:

The post holder’s responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young persons, for whom s/he is responsible or with whom s/he comes into contact, will be to adhere to and ensure compliance with the School’s Child Protection Policy Statement at all times.
