    Deputy Principal - 2 Posts

    The Deputy Principal will oversee the teaching staff, ensuring adherence. to the school's daily routine and upholding a high standard of discipline. Responsibilities encompass key aspects of school structure, educational frameworks, staffing, resources, curriculum assessment, student-centered teaching, and the learning environment.

    The incumbent will be an integral part of the school's leadership team, providing academic and technical services, pedagogical and curriculum expertise to enhance teaching and learning, and support overall school administration.

    Key Qualifications and Experience Required

    Skills, Knowledge, Abilities and Values

    • A Minimum of a Bachelor of Education degree from a recognized University
    • Must be registered with the Teachers Service Commission
    • Minimum 7 years of teaching experience and continuous teaching experience in the field, minimum 3 years' experience as a Deputy Principal/Head of Department/Senior Teacher or in a school leadership role.
    • In-depth knowledge of the national education curriculum (Competency-Based Education Curriculum)
    • Strong instructional leadership and curriculum supervision skills
    • Staff management and supervision, including mentoring and appraisal
    • Effective communication (oral, written, and interpersonal)
    • Strategic planning and school improvement planning
    • Understanding of teaching and learning methodologies and assessment practices
    • Knowledge of education laws, policies, and regulations
    • Familiarity with child protection and safeguarding policies
