Job Summary
Ilara Health works to improve common diagnostics by providing peri-urban clinics in Kenya with accurate and affordable high-tech solutions. We are seeking a part-time design engineer with experience in high-quality 3D printing to assist our team with initiatives we are developing to respond to Covid-19.
Responsibilities
This individual will contribute to the design and execution processes in a project to 3D print personal protective equipment and other manufactured solutions for our partner clinics in and around Nairobi. Preference will be given to candidates with experience working with medical equipment or the healthcare industry, and a minimum of two years of working with additive printing techniques involving PLA, ABS and PET filament. The ideal candidate will be a team player who is ready to contribute ideas and expertise from day one in order to help in the fight against coronavirus.
Minimum Qualifications:
Degree in Design engineering, Mechanical engineering, Manufacturing engineering, or similar.
At least two years of proven success working with high-quality 3D printing technologies and products.
