Digital Marketing and Communication Associate at Pinch Africa

• Pinch Africa is seeking a dynamic, strategic Digital Marketing and Communication Associate to drive content strategy, brand storytelling, and digital engagement across our agency and client portfolio. In this role, you will lead the creation, execution, and optimization of multi-channel communication strategies that build brand equity, foster community engagement, and deliver measurable performance for our clients.

Key Responsibilities;

• Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive digital communication and social media strategies, including cross-platform content calendars aligned with client business goals and target demographics.
• Content Creation & Direction: Produce, write, and oversee high-impact, platform-specific content—spanning compelling copy, graphics, video, and interactive media—maintaining distinct brand voices across diverse client accounts.
• Campaign & Paid Media Management: Manage end-to-end paid social advertising campaigns, overseeing audience targeting, A/B testing, budget allocation, and ad creative optimization to maximize ROI.
• Analytics & Performance Strategy: Monitor, analyze, and interpret cross-channel analytics. Translate complex performance metrics into strategic insights and present executive-ready monthly reports with actionable recommendations.
• Community & Brand Management: Oversee community management protocols, driving proactive engagement, audience growth, crisis communications, and reputation management.
• Collaboration & Client Advisory: Work closely with cross-functional agency teams (design, development, and account leads) and serve as a trusted communications advisor to external client stakeholders.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 2 years professional experience in digital communications, public relations, social media management, or content strategy within an agency or fast-paced corporate environment.
• Strategic Communication: Exceptional written, verbal, and visual storytelling skills, with a proven track record of crafting copy that drives action and resonates across diverse channels.
• Technical & Design Proficiency: Practical experience with content creation tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, video editing software) and social media management platforms
• AI & Automation Proficiency: Hands-on experience integrating AI models and assistants into daily production workflows to accelerate research, content generation, and strategy iteration.
• Data-Driven Mindset: Hands-on experience with social analytics tools (Meta Ads Manager, Google Analytics, platform native insights) and a demonstrated ability to optimize strategies using data.
• Project Management: Strong organizational, multitasking, and client-facing skills, with the ability to manage competing deadlines independently in a fast-moving agency setting.
