Digital Marketing Associate at Powwater

Powwater is looking for an insanely creative Digital Marketing Associate to tell our story to the world on our digital platforms.

The ideal candidate will interact directly with customers developing and implementing a digital marketing strategy to promote Powwater's product through our social media platforms and other communication resources. You are a life-long learner who keeps abreast of the latest trends in digital marketing. You will work closely with the senior management of the company and will play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s future.

Responsibilities

• Support Powwater’s customer acquisition strategy in Kenya – help us grow!
• Responsible for performance marketing and able to deliver and achieve key performance metrics set by management
• Responsible for Increasing App and Social Media traffic, conversions, revenue, transactions etc
• Design and create compelling & creative designs for digital assets
• Create and manage social media content calendar and manage social media channels.
• Manage digital advertising campaigns (Facebook, IG, Twitter, GDNs, etc)
• Set up conversion, pixel, and event tracking on the website and across various digital platforms
• Growth hacking ability to grow SEO traffic exponentially.
• Conduct research on market trends brand’s audiences and competitors, and end-to-end consumer journey to drive engagements and conversions
• Analyze digital marketing analytics reports and share insights with the team to develop optimization plans
• Grow & Manage Affiliate marketing channels e.g. Influencers and other brand partnerships
• Execute various tactical and strategic campaigns by creating a marketing calendar.
• Coordinate with customer acquisition teams on on-ground marketing activities through social media live participation and graphics in support of events
• Stay updated with latest and emerging digital tools and platforms, digital marketing trends, new technologies, and share insights with the rest of the team
• You eat, live, breath date – well versed analytics and numbers.
• Analyze competitor activity

You should:

• Have at least +3 years of professional experience in the creative space
• Be an expert in creative digital marketing and managing multiple campaigns, understanding ROI and other key metrics.
• Experience running growth experiments and developing strategies across social media and digital marketing areas
• Proven analytical, business planning, and excellent time management skills - exhibit the ability to navigate ambiguity, juggle multiple tasks, think independently, and problem solve like a boss.
• Excellent storytelling skills - you’re a gifted writer with a strong creative eye - you’re able to tell the stories and create posts/ads that will appeal to our customers and partners, and you do so in a compelling way to build our brand.
• Be well connected, you know who the cool cats are and how to get our app in their hands.

• You have to be a social media power user - a radically creative genius really and have a proven background building a quality online following for a business that is not afraid to try new things
