Job Requirements

• Be in Possession of a Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics or a related field.
• Be in Possession of a Master’s degree in Statistics, Economics (Policy Management, Multi-Lateral Trading Systems, Cooperation and Human Development), Project Planning & Management from a recognized institution.
• Training in Monitoring & Evaluation from a recognized institution.
• Training in Project appraisal from a reputable institution.
• Attended a Strategic Leadership & Management Course lasting not less than four weeks.
• Demonstrated understanding of the County Budgeting cycle.
• Demonstrated professional competence and managerial capability of not less than 6 years.
• Membership to a relevant professional body.

Job Description

• Reporting to the Office of the County Secretary and Head of County Public Service, your duties shall include:
• Coordination, supervision and promotion of economic ties with development partners including the Private Sector, National Government Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs).
• Tracking and reporting on implementation of partner funded programmes and projects across the sectors including Public Private Partnerships (PPPs), Donations and Grants.
• Facilitating State and Non-State Actors to develop donor funded proposals.
• Initiating position papers on local and international economic and technical cooperation.
• Head of Secretariat for the County Budget & Economic Forum (CBEF)
• Being the County liaison officer for technical and economic partnerships with external agencies and entities.
• Management of County Statistics and coordination of Project appraisal for investment decisions.
• Tracking and reporting on implementation of County investment programmes, Policies, Plans and Budgets.
• Coordinate promotion of the County as the preferred destination for domestic and foreign investment.
• Preparation of specialized reports on Public investment to the County Executive Committee.
• Any other duty assigned.
