Candidate Profile

• A bachelors degree with strong  IT and statistics skills 
• 2 years' experience
• Must have very high level of numeric and analytical skills.
• A team player,  self motivated and proactive with high level of integrity.

Activities
The above-mentioned vacancy has arisen within the Operations Department, Distribution Section. Reporting to the Dispatch Coordinator, the incumbent shall be responsible for the following: -

• Receive cleared customer orders for supply from customers service every evening at 4pm for the next day supply and follow up with customer service on the next day for any new cleared orders at 9am , 1pm and 4 pm.
• Follow up schedule for available trucks for supply on next day by 3 pm and follow up through coordination with OBC team on truck availability on continuous basis to ensure adequate fleet availability.
• Allocate cleared orders to available trucks by 4 pm to ensure all orders are covered and raise any shortfalls for remedial action.
• Prepare and submit the schedule to Dispatch Coordinator for confirmation and send to respective depots and commercial teams before close of business for D+1 dispatch.
• Prepare and submit the schedule to Dispatch Coordinator for confirmation and send to respective transporters before close of business for D+1 dispatch.
• Update and send the dispatch schedule by 9am, 1 pm and 5 pm for the next day for any changes and communicate to respective depots.
• Continuously update cleared and unscheduled order reports.
• Update schedules on Jambo scheduling module for D+1 dispatch.
• Timely closure of open Dispatch cases in Salsa.
