Driving Instructor at Katine Technical Training Institute

Duties and Responsibilities include to:

• Develop lesson plans and design curriculum.
• Train trainees on motor vehicle/motorcycle operations, road signs, rules and safe driving practices.
• Provide practical driving lessons on the road.
• Monitor trainees learning activities.
• Instruct trainees on the basic operations of the vehicle, defensive driving technics and vehicle maintenance
• Assess students class work and driving abilities
• Ensure safety and security in work place

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications

• Must be a Kenyan citizen
• Must have a minimum mean grade D- in Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education
• Must be Proficient in Automotive Engineering
• Must have a valid Instructors Certificate from NTSA
• Must have a valid all class Driving License for atleast 4 years.
• Must be 35 years of age and above.
• Must be conversant with NTSA Act and Regulations
• Must have knowledge of National Highway traffic safety administration
• First Aid Certificate Course lasting not less than one (1) week from a recognized institution.
• Certificate of good conduct.
• Minimum Five years of relevant working experience
