Early Years Educator and Coordinator at Kivukoni School

Role Description

This is a contract role for a deeply committed and experienced Early Years educator and leader.

The role involves developing and implementing engaging learning experiences for the FS2/ Reception class, overseeing consistency and delivery of the EYFS (with creative license!) and ensuring the delivery of high-quality education or care and commitment. As the EYS coordinator, the candidate will also lead and inspire the other EYS teachers and work collaboratively with the school leadership team.

Qualifications Required:

• A recognized degree or diploma in Early Childhood Education.
• 6+ Years experience working in play-based, holistic learning settings
• Strong familiarity with EYFS principles and best practices.
• 2+ years leadership experience within an international Early Years setting.
• Competence with ICT and digital media a strong advantage.
• Environmental education and appreciation a strong advantage.
• First Aid and Safeguarding training (or willingness to obtain).
• Ability to adapt and thrive in a diverse and busy school environment.
