Background and purpose of the consultancies

Two of CRAWN Trust’s core values are transparency and accountability and inclusivity and participation. CRAWN Trust thus facilitates participatory and inclusivity in its programs.

This consultancy involves development of puppetry content on the thematic areas. Upon the development of puppetry work, the firm is required to disseminate the messages through live performance or as agreed.

It is in this regard that CRAWN Trust seeks to engage a consultant/firm for the conducting of live puppetry work in the implementation of the key programmes and interventions conducted virtually and in person.

Objectives:

The consultant/firm will be tasked with;

1. Development of puppetry work for dissemination of the agreed upon messaging based on our programmes/ thematic areas.

This will include: –

1. To develop puppetry content tailored to the respective counties as per the issues in each county
2. To deliver live puppetry performance during the implementation of our programmes or as agreed upon.
3. The Consultancy expected Outputs & Deliverables
4. Scripts for the puppetry work and live performances.

Consultancy activity schedule / Timeline

The duration of the consultancy will be for 1-5 days or as shall be determined by CRAWN Trust

Desired Expertise

The applicant should possess the following desired knowledge and expertise.

1. Track record in conducting themed puppetry work
2. Experience in gender related programming and training is an added advantage
3. Strong project management and financial/budget reporting.
4. Excellent communication skills with the ability to write clearly, concisely and with strong verbal communication skills.
