Job Requirements

• Accounting for Supplier invoices
• Posting Bank Transactions on Sage
• Petty cash transactions posting and reconciliations
• Posting AR invoices
• Filing Taxes ( PAYE,VAT,WHT,WHVat)
• Filing Statutories (NHIF,NSSF,NITA,HELB etc.)
• Payroll accounting
• Intercompany Accounting and reconciliations
• Bank Reconciliations
• Accounting for Depreciations/Prepayments/Accruals
• Assisting the Accounting manager on Tax Audits
• Assisting the Accounting manager in Statutory Financial Audits
• An other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor

Profile
Qualification and Skills

• Minimum 2 years’ working experience in a Junior Accountant position
• Degree in finance or Equivalent
• Proficiency in accounting software.
• Must have well knowledge of relevant tax legislation and accounting practices IFRS.
• Ability to analyze data and critical thinking skills
• Strong skills and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Must be computer literate with intermediate MS Office skills.
