    Electrical Technical Executive

    Electrical technical executive shall be responsible for leading a team of electricians to operate the production equipment for the entire factory. To ensure that the machines are in good running condition and also assist the crews to carry out the necessary machine settings to ensure optimum quality and throughput and to quickly resolve any machine breakdowns to maximise the available running time.

    Key Responsibilities

    Business

    • Ensure machines are available throughout all production shifts to support agreed performance indicators like OEE, MTBF, machine conversion, factory start-ups.
    • Responsible for maintenance execution in the factory i.e. opportunistic, corrective & preventive maintenance while working closely with maintenance leads and service providers.
    • Advise the maintenance teams on the list of electrical sub-assemblies required and report defective sub-assemblies.
    • Implement Technical Standards (global, regional & local) developed by the maintenance team (CIL, Maintenance strategies and checklists, modular lists etc)
    • Ensure quick machine start-ups and service restarting after power interruptions and weekend shutdowns.
    • Maintain accurate and timely machine logs for all electrical equipment (inspections, maintenance, downtimes, repairs & operational logs)
    • Ensure root cause analysis for machine breakdowns/downtimes is carried out and documented.
    • Ensure electrical technical documentation i.e. electrical schematics, software backups & spare parts catalogues are in place and up to date (physical & digital)
    • Ensure the machine setup is completed to improve product quality, reduce waste, and minimize downtime.
    • Deliver all assigned factory projects on time in full.

    People Management

    • Lead, manage and coach the team & promote a culture of accountability and operational excellence to deliver the agreed KPI’s
    • Support the teams in carrying out Gap/Zero based analysis and support implementation of agreed solutions
    • Provide training and expert support to technicians and technical operators to improve their skills to ensure delivery of customer requirements in production and quality within plan
    • Drive IWS (Integrated work system) culture within the production engineering department as the pillar lead.

    Health, Safety & Environment (HSE):

    • Carry out machine/area risk assessments during maintenance and projects.
    • Ensure machine detectors and guard interlocks are in place to drive safety and product quality.
    • Champion and enforce a robust "Safety-First" culture, ensure the site complies with all HSE regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
    • Ensure high standards of housekeeping (5S) and safety are maintained for electrical equipment and workshops to prevent infestation, enhance safety and provide a clean, orderly and healthy working environment.
    • Identify and implement sustainable solutions to drive the business ESG agenda.

    Continuous Improvement: (IWS)

    • Drive a culture of operational excellence by implementing lean manufacturing principles (e.g., Kaizen, 5S, Six Sigma) to optimize processes, reduce waste, and increase productivity.
    • Drive initiatives to optimize resources while driving productivity savings.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in electrical engineering.

    Experience:

    • Minimum 5 years electrical experience in FMCG
    • Good Understanding of process operations and low voltage systems
    • Advanced experience on PLCs (Siemens Simatic Manager/TIA Portal & Beckhoff Twin CAT)
    • Plant maintenance – Advanced.
    • CAPEX management – Advanced.
    • Strategic asset management -Intermediary  
    • Spares part management – Intermediary.
