Electronic Queue Management Systems (EQMS) Technician at Biometrics Technology Ltd.

We are seeking a qualified IT Technician to join our technical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Electronic Queue Management Systems (EQMS) and related hardware/software. This role supports both new deployments and existing client installations, ensuring system reliability and compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Key Responsibilities

• Install and commission EQMS equipment, kiosks, printers, displays, and servers
• Provide first- and second-line technical support, both on-site and remotely
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance, including equipment replacement
• Support system integration, upgrades, and project implementation activities
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and service reports
• Deliver professional client support and training when required

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in IT support, systems installation, or ICT infrastructure
• Strong knowledge of computer hardware, Windows operating systems, and networking fundamentals
• Hands-on experience with printers, kiosks, displays, and LAN troubleshooting
• Professional certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, CCNA, Microsoft, ITIL) are an added advantage
• Experience with EQMS, SQL/database support, or systems integration will be highly desirable
