Engineer II Mechanical BS - 25 Posts at Public Service Commission Kenya (PSCK)

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have: -

• A Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification from a university recognized in Kenya; and
• Be registered by Engineers Board of Kenya(EBK) as a Graduate Engineer.

Duties and Responsibilities

This is the entry and training grade for the cadre.  The officer may be deployed in any of the units at headquarters’ or Field Work Offices. He or she will be assigned mechanical engineering duties and will work under close supervision of an experienced officer. Duties and responsibilities at this level will include: -

• Designing of mechanical services in government buildings and constructions works; and
• Repairing and maintenance of mechanical installations in airports, water works, offices, workshops, conference complexes and other government facilities
