Engineering Manager at Antara Health

Responsibilities

• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the engineering team
• Identify and mitigate risks that could impact company success due to talent gaps 
• Mentor and develop top engineering talent to ensure the long-term success of the team and the company
• Monitor and evaluate team performance and provide regular feedback to team members
• Ensure that engineering processes and practices are efficient, effective, and scalable
• Build a culture of continuous improvement by identifying and implementing process improvements that increase productivity and product quality
• Uphold and enforce standards to our codebases written in Javascript, typescript, python and SQL 
• Understand the complexity of the Product through  architectural reviews 
• Work closely with the team to review their code and provide constructive feedback on how to improve it.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software development, and 3+ years in a management or leadership role
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies, tools, and technologies
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills - bridging  geographically distributed teams
• Proven ability to lead and manage software development teams to deliver high-quality solutions on time
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically  
• Experience with Agile development methodologies and practices
• Experience working in the health care industry is a plus
