Engineering Technicians at Davis & Shirtliff Group

The Davis & Shirtliff Group is the leading supplier of water and energy solutions in the region. The group is Kenyan based and operates through a network of Kenyan branches as well as regional subsidiaries in Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Rwanda, South Sudan, DRC and Zimbabwe. The company has a total complement of over 800 highly trained and professional staff spread across the region and seeks to fill the position of Skilled Technicians in the Engineering Department at Nairobi Head office. The applicants will work closely with and report to the Engineering Production Manager.

The successful candidates will have the following qualifications and abilities and those who do not meet the criteria need not apply:

1. Diploma in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from a recognized institution.
2. Able to interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
3. Able to operate power and hand tools in area of specialization.
4. Intermediate ICT competency including MS Office Suite (Excel, Word)
5. Minimum of two years experience in the area of specialization
6. Able to prioritize work flow through effective communication with supervisory staff
