Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver challenging, thought-provoking English Literature lessons that cultivate deep critical analysis, creativity, and a nuanced appreciation of classic and contemporary texts.
• Design and implement rigorous schemes of work, captivating lesson plans, and rich, diverse teaching resources that elevate student engagement and learning
• outcomes.
• Instill a lifelong love for literature by encouraging students to interrogate themes, contexts, and literary devices with intellectual curiosity and confidence.
• Conduct thorough and impactful assessments, provide incisive feedback, and track student progress to ensure outstanding academic performance.
• Mentor and empower students to develop critical thinking. articulate expression, and academic resilience
• Take an active leadership role in curriculum review, departmental strategy, and school-wide literary initiatives, including clubs, competitions, and dramatic productions.
