Entry-Level Branch Accountant at Powerstar Supermarket

• Powerstar Supermarkets is seeking five (5) early-career Branch Accountants to support branch financial operations. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or those with limited experience to gain hands-on exposure in retail accounting.

Key Responsibilities 

• Support month-end closing and preparation of financial statements
• Assist in reconciling branch records and maintaining the general ledger
• Monitor accounts payable/receivable and ensure compliance with policies
• Participate in budgeting and forecasting processes

Candidate Qualifications 

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Professional qualification (CPA 2, ACCA, or equivalent)
• Up to 1 year of experience (preferred but not mandatory)
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
