Environmental Health Safety Specialist at KEDA Kenya Ceramics Company Limited

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitor and enforce workplace safety standards.
• Ensure effective emergency preparedness and response measures.
• Conduct regular health and safety training for employees.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable occupational health, safety, and environmental legislation.
• Identify, assess, eliminate, and continuously monitor workplace risks and hazards.
• Oversee the proper operation and management of the company clinic.
• Develop, implement, and review health, safety, and environmental policies in line with current legislation and best practices.
• Advise management and administration on all health and safety matters.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by management.

EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science/Environmental Studies or a related field.
• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a similar HSE role.
• Relevant certification/accreditation in Occupational Safety and Health (OSH).
• Sound knowledge of mechanical and electrical principles and equipment operation.
