Events Manager at Tatu City Limited

Position Overview

Tatu City is looking to hire an experienced Events Manager to join our team. The Events Manger will be responsible for conceptualizing, planning, coordinating, and executing high-impact events that showcase Tatu City’s vision, promote Tatu City’s offerings and enhance community engagement. The role involves managing both B2B and B2C events, while ensuring alignment with Tatu City’s brand and strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in event management, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for creating memorable experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Event Planning & Management

• Develop, plan and implement a comprehensive annual events calendar aligned with Tatu City’s marketing engagement strategies.
• Plan and execute various events including property launches, investor meetings, community gatherings and sports events.
• Manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Create detailed event proposals, including timelines, venues, suppliers, staffing, and promotional materials.
• Track and reconcile all event expenses, providing regular budget reports.

Stakeholder Management

• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including residents, corporate clients, government officials, and community leaders.
• Coordinate with internal departments (Marketing, Sales, Operations) to ensure event objectives align with overall business goals.
• Identify and manage relationships with vendors, suppliers, and contractors.
• Oversee event staff and volunteers, providing clear direction and leadership for successful events execution.
• Liaise with sponsors, partners, and stakeholders to ensure their requirements and expectations are met.

Operations & Logistics Coordination

• Coordinate all event logistics including venue selection, layout planning, catering, transportation and technical requirements.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and obtain necessary permits and licenses.
• Manage event setup, execution, and breakdown, ensuring all aspects run smoothly and efficiently.
• Implement and maintain an efficient event management system.
• Handle crisis management and develop contingency plans.

Marketing & Communications

• Work closely with the Marketing team to develop event promotion strategies and drive attendance.
• Work with the marketing team to create promotional materials, including flyers, posters, social media content, and press releases.
• Utilize various channels to advertise events, including online platforms, print media, and direct outreach.
• Ensure consistent brand representation across all events.
• Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote events.

Performance Measurement

• Establish KPIs for event success and implement measurement tools.
• Conduct post-event analysis to gather feedback, assess the success of events and prepare comprehensive reports.
• Analyze event data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and inform future event planning.

Compliance and Safety

• Ensure all events comply with relevant health, safety, and legal regulations.
• Develop and implement risk management plans to address potential issues and emergencies.

Skills and Competencies

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Events Management, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in events management, preferably in real estate or large-scale development projects.
• Proven track record of successfully managing high-profile events.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Strong budget management and financial acumen.
