Field Specialist – Wireline at Baker Hughes

As a Field Specialist - Wireline, you will be able to learn and develop your knowledge and gain valuable technical insight. You will be guided by an experienced team who will mentor you to understand wellsite problems and how to develop resolutions. You'll be able to gain hands-on experience with some incredible technology.

As a Field Specialist – Wireline, you will be responsible for:

• Assisting onsite at workshop and off-site at wellsite to facilitate wireline logging and completion services
• Learning how to execute basic maintenance of equipment to assist in preparing the wireline equipment
• Leading cross-functional teams at the wellsite to find answers to problems and issues
• Following industry practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data to understand problems and find solutions
• Following internal Health, Safety and Environment policies to ensure safety and compliance

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a technical certificate in a related subject or have good, relevant industry experience
• Have at least 5 years experience in wireline operations
• Be willing to gain industry experience and product line training and attend Wireline Training School
• Show a high knowledge and understanding of the Oil and Gas industry
• Demonstrate a good mechanical aptitude and a desire to learn
• Be a good team player and display good communication skills
