Our client, a service provider is looking to hire a Financial Accountant

Workstation: Kiambu, Kiambu road.

Job Purpose;

To run the accounting and financial activities of the organization and provide financial information to other departments

Tasks and Responsibilities

1. To preparing monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
2. To preparing budgets for the organization.
3. Monitoring and reporting on accounting inconsistencies.
4. Keeping up-to-date with financial policies, practices, and regulations.
5. Assess the accuracy and completeness of financial statements and accounting records
6. Establish well-documented systems for recordkeeping and accounting
7. Develop budgets and compare actual costs to estimated costs
8. Regularly update management regarding the financial status of the company
9. Analyze business operations, financial commitments, costs, revenues, and trends to develop projections for future revenue and expenses
10. Provide suggestions and feedback to management regarding budget forecasts and resource utilization.
11. Supervise and direct the work activities of accounting and bookkeeping personnel
12. Ensure compliance with accounting and finance standards, best practices, and government regulations

Skills and Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, economics, or related field.
2. 3 years’ experience in an accounting or a similar role
3. Must be Proficient in Microsoft dynamics
4. Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
5. Solid understanding of bookkeeping competencies.
6. Excellent mathematical skills.
7. Time management skills.
