    Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst

    Role Purpose

    The role holder will support the Regional Head of Financial Planning and Analysis in providing professional guidance in Financial Planning and Analysis and providing assurance on the underlying business financial performance. This role will also play a secondary role in providing support to the Cultural Engagement Regional Financial Planning & Analysis Lead in financial planning & analysis processes and activities.

    The post holder will provide a supporting role in analysing and interpreting long - and short - term financial and operational plans through management reporting, analysis and interpretation of financial trends, impact assessment in conjunction with the Regional Head in order to enable informed decisions.

    This post will be part of the SSA regional FP&A team that is dispersed across the region. The role will support the Regional Head of FP&A in delivering on regional deliverables and Cultural Engagement FP&A Lead on SBU deliverables within the region, in particular with planning, financial management, management accounting and risk management processes through:

    • Efficient and effective financial reporting.
    • Robust financial planning and forecasting activities in the region.
    • Rigorous financial and risk management and oversight of processes.
    • Adhoc analysis and reporting requirements.
    • Other adhoc duties as required such as Master Data set up.

    Role specific knowledge and experience:

    The main essential knowledge and experience points that we are looking for you to evidence are:

    • Degree level educational qualification in Accounting, Finance and/or Business Administration
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in Operational financial management and/or management accounting
    • Delivery of results within a complex international structure and reporting to tight deadlines
    • Experience working in virtual teams

    Desirable Experience:

    • Qualified with a recognised accounting body
    • Experience working with SAP
