Duties and responsibilities will entail:

• Machining of parts for repairs and maintenance works;
• Inspecting equipment to identify defects and implementing rectification;
• Implementing preventive maintenance programs;
• Attending to and repairing equipment breakdowns to ensure machine availability.
• Monitoring operations to detect defects;
• Assisting in undertaking new machine and equipment installations;
• Inspecting running equipment to identify defects and implementing rectification;

Job Specification;

• Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education mean grade of D+ or its equivalent from a recognized institution;
• Three (3) years’ relevant work experience.
• Government Trade Test I (GTT I) in General Fitting, or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
• Proficiency in computer applications; and
• Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution
