Our client is an IT solution firm based in Nairobi, and they seek to hire a Front End Web Developer.

Job Responsibilities

1. Effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams and clients.
2. Use UX design best practices to design solutions.
3. Deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design.
4. Appreciate & develop high-quality Front End/UI patterns.
5. A great sense of personal responsibility to the assigned work.
6. Keen interest to innovate around features and align them to the overall team goals and business objectives.

Skills and Qualifications

1. Minimum a Bachelor’s degree in relevant areas e.g. Computer Science, ICT, Web design, etc.
2. Minimum of two (2) years’ relevant experience.
3. Strong English in written and oral communication skills.
4. Working knowledge of HTML5+, CSS3+ and JavaScript 
5. Working knowledge of CSS framework – Bootstrap
6. Working knowledge of Model-View-Controller (MVC) architectural pattern.
7. Intermediate knowledge of a front-end framework – React.JS  in the design, development, testing, securing, and deployment of front-end web applications
8. Intermediate knowledge and ability to connect  web applications  developed to our RESTful API services and third-party services
9. Understanding of testing web applications
10. Ability to iterate designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently.
11. Working knowledge of Git, BitBucket version control, and software collaboration tool 
12. Basic knowledge of object-oriented development language – C#, VB.NET, .NET framework.
13. Basic knowledge  of database management systems – MS SQL Server
14. Experience in Azure, Cloud Services (REST), Power BI.
15. Portfolio of previous Front End projects
