To plan and carry out direct Sales & Marketing, business development of technical services.
To ensure, maintain and develop sales of Bureau Veritas services.
All accounts and specifies, in accordance with agreed business plans.
Plan and carry out direct marketing activities to agreed budgets, sales volumes, values, product mix and timescales.
Develop ideas and create offers for direct mail and marketing to major accounts by main market sector and services.
Respond to and follow-up sales inquiries by post, telephone, email and personal visits.
Maintain and develop existing and new customers through planned individual account support, and liaison with internal order-processing staff.
Monitor and report on activities and provide relevant management information.
Carry out market research, competitor and customer surveys.
Liaise and attend meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business and organizational development skills.
Attend training and to develop relevant knowledge and skill
To market these facilities within capabilities and visit customers regularly as required.
To keep abreast with new techniques, developments and legislation relevant to the lab.
To initiate and maintain a realistic costing system for Sales and Marketing, and work within allocated budgets.
To convene and manage symposia, exhibitions, seminars and conferences in terms of Bureau Veritas Brand awareness and promotion of various business units.
To deliver and execute presentations to current and prospective detailing business scope of practice, including project-specific detailing.
Manage and initiate cross-selling efforts among Bureau Veritas colleagues, internal sales between various commodity industries
To maintain confidentiality of all Bureau Veritas Group information.
What will you need to succeed in this role?
A degree or diploma relating to food analytical services and agricultural inspection.
Must have a background in agricultural commodities and food testing.
Must be familiar with various types of commodities.
Must be competent with all Microsoft packages(Word/Excel/PPT).
Driving license.
Ability to conduct presentations at all levels.
Proven sales track record. Minimum of 3 years sales position, an advantage but not a must.
