Groundsman at Braeburn Schools

The Post involves and is not limited to:-

• Sweeping and cleaning designated areas
• Washing Designated areas on a regular basis
• Cutting Grass in designated areas
• Watering Flowers/Shrubs and maintaining hedges
• Collecting litter and disposing of waste
• Maintaining Gardens and grounds designated as the area within your care.
• Assisting in preparing sports field
• Preparing for School functions and clear up afterwards.
• Assisting in preparing the assembly Hall and clearing it afterwards.
• Carrying out all other duties within your capabilities as allocated by your Line Manager

The applicant should:-

• Have good communication skills, a keen sense of thoroughness and an eye for detail. Be able to understand and carry out written and oral instructions
• Be capable of working independently with minimal supervision
• Have good interpersonal Skills and be a Team Player
• Have ID, NSSF,NHIF,KRA PIN, Certificate of Good Conduct and Bank account Details
• This is a unionisable Grade 1 position
