Group Director – Digital Transformation & Business Technology at Victory Farms

Key Responsibilities:

Digital Transformation

• Develop and execute the Group Digital Transformation strategy.
• Enable business transformation through technology, automation and data.
• Partner with business leaders to improve processes, operational visibility and decision-making.
• Lead transformation initiatives where technology is the primary driver of change.

 Business Technology

Lead the strategy, governance and continuous improvement of:

• ERPNext
• Aqua Digital Ecosystem
• Snowflake
• Power BI
• Microsoft 365
• Future enterprise platforms

Aqua Digital Ecosystem

• Develop and govern the Group’s Aqua Digital Ecosystem supporting the full aquaculture value chain.

Key focus areas include:

• Biomass management Kenya, Rwanda, Netherlands
• Stocking
• Feeding and FCR
• Survival monitoring
• Harvest planning
• Production forecasting
• Operational intelligence
• Smart farming technologies

 Data, Analytics & AI

• Establish a trusted Group-wide single source of truth.
• Define KPI governance and reporting standards.
• Expand advanced analytics and business intelligence.
• Lead practical adoption of AI, automation and operational intelligence.

 ICT, Cybersecurity & Technology Governance

• Lead the Group’s ICT, cybersecurity and technology governance capabilities through the Group ICT & Security Lead.
• Provide overall accountability for:
• Technology governance
• Cybersecurity strategy
• Technology risk
• Data governance
• Software licensing
• Business continuity
• Disaster recovery
• Technology investment governance

 Leadership

• Build and lead a multidisciplinary function covering:
• Enterprise Systems
• Aqua Digital Ecosystem
• Data & Analytics Kenya, Rwanda, Netherlands
• ICT & Cybersecurity
• Business Intelligence
• Transformation & Innovation
  Develop a high-performing team and build strong partnerships across Operations, Commercial, Supply Chain, Finance
  and Country Leadership.

Success Measures:

Within the first 24 months the successful candidate will:

• Strengthen ERPNext governance and adoption.
• Deliver a trusted Group-wide reporting environment.
• Reduce spreadsheet dependency.
• Successfully establish the Aqua Digital Ecosystem.
• Improve biological and operational data quality.
• Deliver measurable AI and automation use cases.
• Strengthen cybersecurity and technology governance.
• Improve operational visibility and decision-making.
• Build scalable digital capabilities supporting future expansion.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• 10+ years’ experience in digital transformation, business technology, enterprise systems, or a related field, with significant experience in operationally intensive environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• Strategic thinker with a hands-on, operational approach.
• Strong understanding of operational environments and business needs.
• Proven ability to translate business challenges into practical digital solutions.
• Demonstrated experience leading digital transformation in operationally intensive industries.
• Strong people leadership skills, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
