Group Director, Operational Risk at Network Recruitment

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the rollout and execution of the bank’s Operational Risk Framework across all business units.
• Manage and mentor a high-performing operational risk team.
• Provide strategic insights to the Risk Management Committee to ensure well-informed decision-making.
• Collaborate closely with senior leadership to enhance the bank’s risk culture and develop clear, actionable risk dashboards.

Key Requirements:

• Experience: 10–15 years in risk operations, compliance, or financial risk management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Strong banking experience
• Expertise: Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, operational risk management, and corporate governance.
• Strategic Leadership: Proven ability to develop and implement risk strategies at the group level, ensuring business continuity and resilience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Outstanding stakeholder engagement and influencing skills to drive a proactive risk culture.
