    Hardware QA Technician Internship

    Your Role

    • We are looking for an intern to join our Hardware Quality Assurance team here at KOKO! This is a great opportunity for someone who is curious about hardware systems and passionate about quality. Our QA team ensures that our in-house designed hardware products — from smart fuel dispensers to embedded systems — meet high standards of reliability, safety, and performance through structured lab and field validation.
    • The core project for this internship will be owning the lab maintenance and setup and running core tests and building documentation around the testing.

    What You Will Do

    • You will work alongside experienced hardware QA engineers and technicians to support product validation and testing activities.

    You will:

    • Assist in setting up and executing structured hardware test plans in lab and field environments.
    • Operate standard lab tools and measurement equipment under supervision (multimeters, power supplies, environmental chambers, etc.).
    • Document observations, test results, and deviations clearly and accurately.
    • Learn and follow lab safety protocols and quality control procedures.
    • Collaborate with QA engineers to identify anomalies and escalate issues.
    • Contribute to ongoing efforts in improving test documentation, procedures, and data accuracy.
    • This is a hands-on role designed to help you build technical and analytical skills while learning how hardware systems are validated in a production-grade QA environment.

    What You Will Bring

    • Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related engineering discipline
    • Basic familiarity with electro-mechanical systems
    • Use of lab equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power supplies
    • Safe handling and assembly of mechanical and electronic components
    • Basic data analysis using spreadsheets or simple dashboards

    Other skills:

    • Strong attention to detail and methodical approach to tasks
    • Eagerness to learn, ask questions, and engage with testing processes
    • Good written and verbal communication
    • A team mindset and willingness to follow instructions carefully

    Nice to Have

    • Experience with basic CAD or 3D modeling tools
    • Exposure to electronics debugging or soldering
    • Familiarity with test documentation or structured testing methods
    • Interest in IoT-connected hardware or smart energy solutions
