Head of Kindergarten Section at Christ Is the Answer Ministries

CITAM Seeks to recruit a born-again Christian qualified to lead our Kindergarten Section. The ideal candidate should have a passion for early childhood education, strong leadership skills, and the ability to create and implement engaging learning experiences that meet the needs of young learners.

The position reports to the  Principal.

Key Responsibilities 

• Supervision & Leadership: Provide overall supervision of teaching and non-teaching staff in the Kindergarten Section, ensuring adherence to school policies and  best practices in early childhood education.
• Curriculum Implementation: Oversee the planning, execution, and evaluation of the kindergarten curriculum, ensuring alignment with national and institutional standards.
• Budget Management: Develop and manage the Kindergarten section’s budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and adherence to financial policies.
• Staff Development: Mentor and support Kindergarten teachers through professional development programs, performance evaluations, and regular feedback.
• Student Welfare: Ensure the emotional, social, and intellectual well-being of all learners by fostering a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
• Parental Engagement: Establish strong communication and partnerships with parents/guardians to enhance student learning and overall development.
• Compliance & Reporting: Ensure adherence to relevant educational regulations, policies, and safety standards, and provide periodic reports  to school leadership.

Requirements

• Must be a born-again, mature Christian who conforms to the CITAM statement of faith.
• Diploma/Degree in Early Childhood Education or Primary Education.
• Minimum of Seven (7) years of continuous experience in Early childhood education.
• CBC Certification from a recognized institution.
• Strong understanding of early childhood curriculum design and implementation.
• Tech Savvy competence
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate both teachers and learners.
• Familiarity with modern teaching approaches and digital learning tools will be an added advantage.
