Head of Modern Workplace & Security at HighSpeed Office Kenya (HSO Kenya)

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as the Head of Modern Workplace & Security.

Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for engineering activities across HSO professional services within the Modern Workplace and Security Kenya division
• Innovation and drive implementation (and automation) of best practice implementation strategies, processes and procedures to improve project/service delivery
• Ensure project and service request delivery meet technical objectives and customer business needs effectively, by ensuring effective runbooks. Maintain and drive healthy technical account relationships with our clients.
• Identify technical growth areas or gaps in client environments, for upselling and professional service engagements.
• Evaluate the technical issues facing our clients and drive actions towards mitigation and develop growth opportunities
• Contribute to overall HSO business development and professional services delivery, from a management perspective
• Technical team development: Leading and overseeing all aspects of technical project delivery in design, effort estimation, timelines and post-implementation support
• Lead and oversee required technical documentation for projects
• Planning and resource allocation to ensure that new and ongoing engagements are well aligned effective delivery of projects
• Ensure resources are equipped with appropriate tools required for learning, project and managed service delivery and get required management and external support.
• Lead, mentor and develop professional services, and managed services teams. Ensure adequate capacity is met and adequately utilized. Drive the team towards achieving set objectives, and performing their quarterly appraisals.
• Work with Marketing for blogs and articles for marketing
• Work with project management for cross functional activity required for project execution
• Liaise with pre-sales team for effective solution pitching, provide required technical guidance and content.
• Reporting to executive team about the professional services team activities regularly
• Adding and contributing to new technologies/ solutions that would open opportunities for HSO
