Job Purpose

Responsible for providing technical expertise in all aspects of solution design, application development, integration, and system upgrades. Ensure solutions meet high-quality standards and address unique organizational needs effectively

Main Responsibilities

• Write and execute batch scripts to automate processes and ensure system reliability.
• Develop and enhance system functionality through coding and scripting to address unique business needs.
• Provide expert technical support and troubleshooting for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central users.
• Conduct comprehensive training sessions to enhance end-user proficiency and system adoption.
• Optimize system performance and maintain data integrity through proactive monitoring and regular updates.
• Keep accurate records of the development process, changes, and results.
• Customize and develop solutions within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central using AL and C/AL languages to meet specific business requirements.
• Integrate the system with third-party applications, including banks, using APIs for seamless data exchange and transaction processing.
• Design and customize reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights into business operations.
• Implementation of system integration that ensures optimal system stability, performance, and reliability.
• Testing software to ensure the code is correct, fixing ('debugging') errors where they occur, and rerunning and rechecking the program until it produces the correct results (Fault finding, diagnosis, and fixing of bugs).
• Liase with the vendor and service provider to ensure accurate system customization and proper system configuration.
• Provide technical documentation of the system design & solution blueprints, data dictionary, database object structure, operating manuals, and code documentation that meets industry best practices.
• Participate in IT project steering committees and be involved in the design phase of any new IT software development projects.
• Keep accurate records of the development process, changes, and results.
• Any other duty as may be assigned from time to time, including outside working hours, location, and environment.
• Create and implement test plans
• Ensure proper data management and safe custody.
• Any other lawful duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications
Minimum level of academic qualification

• At least three years' experience as Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Business Central System Developer in a fast-paced environment
• A bachelor's degree (Computer Science/IT/BBIT/Software Engineering)
• Certified in Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Business Central (Installation, Configuration and Development)

Essentials Skills

• Knowledge of power platforms will be an added advantage. b) C/SIDE Development, RTC experience and AL Development. c) Experience in object Oriented programming
• Microsoft SQL server experience development on MS SQL
• Minimum months or years of experience required to have to be appointed to the position: Minimum of three (3) years of relevant work experience.
