Information Communication Technology Assistant at Kenya Nuclear Regulatory Authority ( KNRA)

For appointment to this Grade an officer must have:

• Diploma in any of the following fields: Information Technology, computer science/Engineering or any other relevant and equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
• Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education mean grade C plain with at least a C- in mathematics and English/ Kiswahili or its approved equivalent qualification.
• Proficiency in computer application; and
• Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Testing simple computer programs according to instructions and specifications.
• Installing and configuring computer systems.
• Providing user support.
• Repairing and maintaining ICT equipment and associated peripherals.
• Monitoring the performance of ICT equipment.
• Providing support for application systems.
• Identifying and reporting any faults for necessary action; and
• Maintaining up to date equipment register.
