Innovate Project Quantitative Field Interviewers at African Population And Health Research Center (APHRC)

Duties & Responsibilities

 The field interviewers will undertake the following duties and responsibilities:

• Commit to attend all days of training and data collection.
• Obtain and document informed consent from the study participants before the interviews.
• Listing of all existing structures and rentable rooms in the study sites.
• Conduct and record all interviews held with respondents using tablets.
• Participate in daily debrief meetings.
• Be a custodian of the APHRC data collection equipment during field work.
• Observe safeguarding procedures throughout the data engagement.
• Any other related activity assigned by the supervisor during the contract period.

Minimum Requirements

• Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE); with a minimum grade of C Plain.
• Experience in electronic data capture methods, such as survey CTO and devices like tablets.
• Attention to detail to ensure the correctness of all data entered.
• Previous experience working in Korogocho and Viwandani is an added advantage.
• Fluency in written and spoken English and Swahili.
• Be available to work full-time on the project for the duration.
