Main purpose of the job

• The successful candidate will lead the Deloitte Cloud Transformation & System Engineering team in introducing, developing, implementing, optimizing, and maintaining cloud-based solutions, specifically cloud integration platforms. You will be in direct dialogue with our clients and be responsible for developing customized solution approaches for architecture, process, deployment, and products around the integration space.

What you will do

• Lead a team of junior and senior Mulesoft integration developers, including coordination of activities, team management and service level management.
• Develop Integration Solutions Using Integration iPaaS tools like MuleSoft, Boomi etc.
• Provide technical expertise in large, complex environments.
• Individual will be responsible to provide:
  • Detailed requirements analysis
  • Software design
  • Development
  • Testing
  • Deployment
  • Production support for iPaaS Interface Applications e.g. MuleSoft, Boomi etc.
• Effectively works with Internal and External customers.
• Provide guidance and training to team members to build knowledge and skills on iPaaS technologies e.g. MuleSoft, Boomi etc.
• Handles more critical or complex aspects of the solution.
• Participates in the analysis and composition of requirements, design and implementation of test plan, and documentation of final product. Knows ADO and is familiar with using ADO.
• Contributes to Practice by working on improvements to existing software programs as necessary.
• Acquires increased knowledge of projects, development tools, languages, frameworks, and methodologies by attending technical training, bootcamps and self-learning.
• Technical Supervision of software engineers aligned with the needs of the project.
• Responsible for successful execution and alerting team and QA Directors of obstacles, issues and risks.
• Responsible for coordinating/engaging build movements to the load environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree of Computer Science or any other related field.
• 7 – 10 years of prior professional programming experience, ideally in the Integration space.
• Hands-on iPaaS tools like MuleSoft, Boomi etc. experience for a minimum 2 - 3 years (3+ years preferred).
• Must have experience with API development lifecycle including writing API specifications.
• Solid API designing skills and experience in dealing with e2e application development and support on iPaaS tools like MuleSoft, Boomi etc.
• Design, code, test, document, and deploy solutions using standard tools in the market.
• Advanced understanding of underlying integration platform architecture, services and other out-of-the-box features.
• Must have knowledge of programming languages like JAVA, Python, Javascript etc.
• Experience in Continuous Integration and Continuous Development using at least some DevOps tooling e.g. JIRA, Jenkins, BitBucket etc.
• Must know Command Line Interface (CLI) in Linux, MacOS or any other Unix system.
• Must be familiar with software development methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, etc.
• Knowledge and experience in Cloud Services (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure etc) is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of messaging frameworks and principles like JMS (Java Message Service), Kafka etc. dealing with Integration use cases and landscapes is an added advantage.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

• Prior leadership or tech lead role.
• Mulesoft Associate, Developer and Architect Certifications is preferred.
