Internal Auditor at Tangaza University College

Requirements

1. Bachelor's Degree in finance, Economics, Accounting or any other business related field from a recognised institution
2. Masters Degree in Finance,Internal Audit or related field from a recognised Institution will be an added advantage.
3. Must be a qualified accountant with relevant professional qualifications such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA-K)
4. Certified Internal auditor is an added advantage
5. At least 4 years working experience in a similar position (Experience in an institution of higher learning is an added advantage)
6. Demonstrate knowledge of Kenyan legislations

Key competency and skills

1. Strong knowledge of standards, procedures and general auditing policies
2. Effective and explicit communication skills in both oral and written forms
3. Ability to analyze and solve problems relating to auditing and related disciplines
4. Excellent Computer skills and knowledge of audit and accounting software
5. Posses good interpersonal skills and high level of integrity and ethics
6. Risk management skills
7. Able to keep a breast with regulatory changes and industry standards
