Inventory Control Accountant at Royal Mabati Factory

The Inventory Control Accountant will be responsible for tracking and valuing inventory, reconciling discrepancies, and providing financial analysis to support inventory management decisions.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent work experience). CPA or other relevant accounting certifications are preferred.
• Experience in inventory accounting or a similar role in manufacturing.
• Proficient in inventory accounting, management systems, and accounting software. Expertise in inventory accounting principles.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office application, Ms Excel and SAP
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Competencies

• Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular reconciliations.
• Monitor, report, and resolve inventory variances and discrepancies.
• Conduct audits to improve inventory processes and procedures.
• Collaborate with procurement and production teams for accurate inventory transactions. Prepare and analyze inventory reports, offering insights and recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
• Develop and implement inventory control policies and best practices.
• Train and guide staff on inventory accounting processes.
