    ISG Tech Sales

    We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect that can translate business and technical requirements into business outcome-focused IT solutions that add real value. In this role, you will own and support the pre-sales activities of digital, technology transformation solutions. In your new role , you will get engaged in promoting Lenovo infrastructure products and solutions, you will work with CTOs, IT specialists and with Lenovo partners to help drive Lenovo’s opportunities through the sales cycle from understanding customer business and technical requirements, building the customer’s solution architecture and driving the opportunity up to a profitable closing.

    As a strong teamplayer you’ll step in for presales business opportunities originally identified by the sales team where technical expertise is needed to define the perfect solution for our customers. With your knowledge and experience you actively support the sales team growing business.

    In this role you will be reporting to our Field CTO - ISG MEA sales manager based in the UAE

    Your Responsibilities will include:

    • Help shape and scope customer and solution requirements through meetings, analysis, requirements workshops, customer visits, Use cases, and scenarios
    • Translate the requirements into architectures & solutions designs
    • Creates business case collateral and can create and cost solutions across the full end-user space including physical deployment and people, tools, and processes
    • Drives the technical certification and validation for all opportunities across customers solutions and architecture
    • Thinks and act strategically, anticipates future trends, and develops solution visions
    • Challenges existing processes to ensure the best solution for the customer
    • Maintains current understanding of technology, tools and toolsets in the industry
    • Autonomously able to work across regions and functions to achieve results with minimal supervision and input
    • Develops, maintains, and cultivates strong trusted and meaningful customer relationships at all levels, through a deep understanding of their key business issues

    You should be meeting the following requirements:

    • 5+ years’ experience in Presales / customer facing technical sales experience preferably in the infrastructure business
    • Demonstrate an understanding of trends & technologies for infrastructure solutions, entry to mid-level Storage, Converged, Hyperconverged (SDI) systems and system virtualization principles, Kubernetes, cloud services, IOT and AI
    • Ability to create and present technical solutions to clients within the customer and clearly articulate the technical value proposition to the customer
    • To have the ability to interpret customers’ business and technical requirements and translate them into IT services and solutions, which add real business value
    • Have experience in creating and presenting business cases that outline business benefits and show value-add and cost savings
    • Highly articulate and professional in both oral and written communication, as well as presentation, persuasion, and negotiation skills to achieve the desired result needed to all levels of the audience up to and including CXO
